80 Series Landcruiser Stage Two 4" Suspension Lift f/ TJM & 4+

The TJM XGS and TJM XGS Gold systems are designed in Australia by TJM to extend the performance and capabilities of a vehicle’s suspension.
The TJM suspension will make sure of this, giving your vehicle improved ride, handling, load carrying and towing capability.
The 80 Series Kit Consists Of:
The foundation of the lift kit is in the springs. In this TJM kit we achieve 4 Inches of lift through super heavy duty TJM XGS coils.
TJM Adjustable Front and Rear Panhard bars:
The purpose of suspension is to allow the wheels to move vertically with respect to the body, when raised height suspension is applied to some coil-sprung 4WD vehicles the fixed length of the original front or rear panhard rod can cause the axle to shift allowing it to move forward and backwards, or from side to side. TJM Adjustable Panhard Rods are designed to eliminate this problem by enabling you to set the rod to the most appropriate position for whatever suspension type or lift height your 4WD has.
Extended Brake Lines:
Allowing for increased articulation also requires increased travel of your brake lines. For this we include 3 XLC 4500 psi custom built extended brake lines for both the front and rear of your 80 Series.
TJM XGS GOLD Shocks:
The TJM XGS Gold 4WD Shock Absorber range is 100% designed and engineered in Australia with sensitive damping and our exclusively engineered valve with teflon banded piston, to improve the ride, handling, and safety characteristics of the vehicle.
These features allow the TJM XGS Gold Shock Absorber to adjust more rapidly to changing road, off road and weight conditions better than any other available 4WD shock absorber.

TJM High performance steering damper:
When adding larger wheels and tires, you have an increased chance of what they call "bump steer". This is when you hit irregularities in the road the front of the truck bumps to the left or right. To address this, we include a high performance TJM steering damper (looks similar to a shock).
4+ Castor correction drop brackets:
n our opinion this is the best way to correct caster for the majority of uses of the 80 series when lifted 4" . Not only will these brackets correct the front caster angle, but they will properly realign the front control arm to the vehicles frame. Why would this be important? Simple, the control arms on an 80 series not only position the axles in relation to the frame, they also transfer acceleration and braking force from the axles to the chassis. This angle or geometry determines how the vehicle reacts under acceleration, cornering, and braking. Trust us, Toyota spent a lot of time, and money, testing and engineering to determine the correct angles and geometry for the 80 series suspension. Is this perfect for everyone? No, if you're using your 80 series as a "rock buggy" you obviously have other concerns than how the vehicle handles and steers, but for the vast majority of us that use our 80 as a daily driver, suspension geometry determines if our vehicle is a joy to drive or a pain in the rear. These bracket kits are designed to drop the fixed end of the OEM front control arms 4 inches and bring the caster back to stock alignment and into the center of the designed travel arc. Your stock bushings are retained in the control arms. One big advantage of these bracket kits is installation requires no drilling, no cutting, no welding, the control arms can stay attached to the front axle, no press is required, consequently they are much easier to install than any other caster correction option.
4+ Sway Bar Extensions:
When installing a lift on an 80 Series Land Cruiser the geometry of the front and rear sway bars will be altered and can adversely affect the handling characteristics of the vehicle. When the axle travel is increased, the front drive shaft will be able to drop down far enough to actually hit the front sway bar. We include 2” drop brackets for the front sway bar to clear the drive shaft and re-align the bar for improved handling.
For the rear sway bar we include 2-1/2” extended links or extended brackets depending on production type of rear sway bar to re-align the rear bar and improve handling. Link style includes new polyurethane bushings, washers, and ny-lock nuts. On vehicles that have a plate type bracket and a rod end to the bracket from the sway bar, the brackets are made from 3/16” plate steel , powder coated black. Brackets/Links are also available as a separate full front/rear kit. Replacement parts available separately.
4+ Bump Stop Extensions:
When running long travel shocks on lifts of 3" or over on 80 series Land Cruisers it is quite often necessary to extend the bump stops to keep the longer shocks from bottoming out on compression or to keep the large tires often found with this level of lift from hitting the vehicles body panels.
4+ Rear Brake Proportioning Valve (LSPV) Extension Bar:
If you have a lifted 80 series, the rear proportioning valve lever will be unloaded making the braking system underwork due to thinking the vehicle is lighter. The arm needs to be extended back to it's original position with an extension.
* Although not completely necessary for operation, you should extend and balance your driveshafts to compensate for the lift height. There is a possibility that you could encounter driveline vibration if not. This kit does not include extended drive shafts in order to save you money. You can have your driveshafts extended and balanced at your local driveline shop. If you do not know of a shop, we can help locate one for you. Alternatively, we can custom build you shafts at an additional charge.
This kit is designed to be a total lift solution for your 80 series. It will ship in 3+ separate boxes due to the weight (freight).
